Dr. Allen Sung


I specialize in psychological and neuropsychological evaluations and testing for children and adults who struggle with their education, social interactions, emotions, and behavior. I earned my bachelor’s degree from UCLA and completed both my master’s and doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology. I also have expertise in treating alcohol and drug addiction, with my doctoral thesis focusing on substance use disorders.

When conducting assessments, I use an evidence-based, strengths-based, and solution-focused approach, drawing on the latest research. Each evaluation is personalized to meet the unique needs of each client. I strive to carry out evaluations with the same professionalism, warmth, and care that I would expect for myself or my loved ones.

Additionally, I provide clinical supervision to psychology graduate students at the master’s and doctoral levels, as well as post-doctoral graduates working toward licensure. I also serve as an alumni career mentor to students at Flintridge Preparatory School in La Cañada who are interested in pursuing careers in psychology. Being a native of the area, I have a deep connection to the community I serve.
