Practicums & Postdoctoral Residencies
HPS!Education and mentorship are the cornerstones of our practice. As an active training site with the Southern California Association of Psychology Training Programs (SCAPTP), we provide a highly supportive, rigorously structured environment for practicum students and postdoctoral residents.
Our unified training track is grounded in neuropsychological and educational evaluation, offering focused opportunities to integrate targeted psychotherapeutic care:
Practicum Program: Doctoral students focus primarily on neuropsychological assessment—developing core competencies in clinical interviewing, standardized battery administration, scoring, integrative report writing, and feedback. Trainees round out their clinical development with a supplemental psychotherapy caseload.
Postdoctoral Residency: Designed for graduates seeking specialized mastery, the postdoctoral experience is assessment-intensive, focusing on complex neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations across the lifespan. Residents also have the option to carry a supplemental psychotherapy caseload.
Across all levels of training, clinicians receive dedicated, individualized supervision and mentorship structured to prepare them for independent practice and California board licensure.

Under the leadership and supervision of our Clinical Director—who currently serves as Vice President of the San Gabriel Valley Psychological Association (SGVPA), recognized as the 2026 California Psychological Association (CPA) Outstanding Chapter of the Year—our staff and trainees remain deeply connected to the forefront of the regional clinical community.
