Dr. Gianna Rinaldi

Dr. Gianna Rinaldi is a registered psychological associate specializing in comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. With a warm and collaborative approach, she strives to help patients and their families understand the root of academic, social, and emotional challenges to find a clear path forward.

Dr. Rinaldi earned her Master of Psychology (Psy.M.) and Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in School Psychology from Rutgers University’s Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology, widely considered one of the nation’s premier programs for advanced psychology. She also received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Education, and Philosophy from Rutgers University, graduating magna cum laude.

Her extensive training includes prestigious externships at NYU Langone’s Department of Neurology, where she gained deep experience in assessing a wide range of conditions. Working under the supervision of Dr. Allen Sung, she is passionate about using evidence-based, compassionate methods to create a supportive and insightful assessment experience for every patient.

  • Served as a Neurology Extern at NYU Langone Health’s Department of Neurology, conducting neuropsychological testing for patients aged 2 to 22 with a wide range of neurological and medical conditions.

  • Provided ADHD-focused support at Rutgers' Center for Youth Social Emotional Wellness, where she led groups, mentored students, and conducted ADHD assessments.

  • Trained in various private practice and university clinic settings, conducting cognitive, academic, and social-emotional assessments for preschoolers through young adults.
