Therapy for Young Adults & College Students in Pasadena, CA.
For when "adulting" feels overwhelming, and you aren't sure what your next step should be.
The "Best Years of Your Life" Are Actually Really Hard.
Everyone tells you that your 20s are supposed to be fun. But in reality, it often feels like a high-pressure race where everyone else is winning, and you are falling behind. You might be feeling:
The "Failure to Launch": Feeling stuck at home or unable to move forward with your career or independence.
Academic Burnout: Crushing pressure from school (Caltech, PCC, USC, UCLA) and the fear that one bad grade will ruin your future.
Imposter Syndrome: Feeling like a fraud at work or school, waiting for everyone to find out you don't know what you're doing.
Social Anxiety: Struggling to make real connections in a world of dating apps and curated social media feeds.
A Space to Figure It Out (Without Judgment)
At Huntington Psychological Services, we treat you as the expert on your own life. We aren't here to tell you what to do, lecture you, or treat you like a child.
Our therapists provide a confidential, neutral space separate from your parents or professors. We use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused strategies to help you:
Quiet the Noise: Stop comparing your "behind-the-scenes" to everyone else's "highlight reel."
Build Autonomy: Develop the confidence to make your own decisions about your career, relationships, and boundaries.
Manage Stress: Practical tools to handle finals week, job interviews, and financial stress without spiraling.
