Alexa Lopez is a doctoral extern currently completing her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Alliant International University (CSPP - Los Angeles) with a clinical concentration in Family and Couples Therapy. Grounded in a warm, collaborative, and patient-centered approach, Alexa is dedicated to helping individuals and families foster resilience, navigate emotional challenges, and achieve meaningful growth. She prioritizes building a safe, nonjudgmental therapeutic space where patients feel genuinely supported and understood.

Alexa brings a strong clinical foundation in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, crisis intervention, and psychodiagnostic assessment. Her clinical experience includes providing individual and group therapy in re-entry and community settings, addressing trauma, grief, substance use, and relational difficulties. Proficient in Spanish, Alexa is deeply committed to delivering culturally responsive, compassionate care tailored to each patient's unique background and lived experiences.

At Huntington Psychological Services, Alexa provides compassionate, evidence-based psychotherapy to help patients navigate personal, emotional, and relational difficulties. In addition to her therapeutic practice, she plays a vital role in our assessment service, conducting standardized test administration, psychometric scoring, and detailed behavioral observations to support comprehensive diagnostic evaluations.
