Dr. Allen Sung is a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist currently serving as the 2026 Vice President of the San Gabriel Valley Psychological Association (SGVPA). With a passion for helping children, adults, and families thrive, Dr. Sung specializes in comprehensive psychological assessments and skills-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). His clinical approach is defined by a blend of warmth and professionalism, ensuring a collaborative and empowering experience for every patient.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UCLA and his master’s and doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Sung's expertise is further deepened by specialized training in addiction, including a formative experience under the mentorship of "Dr. Drew" Pinsky at Las Encinas Hospital.

A native of the local area and an alumnus of Flintridge Preparatory School, Dr. Sung is deeply invested in his community. He actively gives back by providing clinical supervision to the next generation of psychologists and serves as a dedicated career mentor to students and fellow alumni from UCLA.
