Maurisa Chong is the Director of Operations at our practice, where she ensures that everything runs smoothly for both our clinicians and our patients. With a sharp eye for detail and a passion for creating a welcoming environment, Maurisa manages all administrative and operational aspects of the practice. Her responsibilities include overseeing patient scheduling, managing billing and out-of-network insurance coordination, streamlining the intake process, and ensuring strict adherence to HIPAA compliance. She is the friendly and efficient point of contact dedicated to making your experience with us seamless and positive.

A proud Southern California native, Maurisa’s education includes her time at both Crescenta Valley High School and Immaculate Heart High School. She went on to earn her Bachelor's degree from UCLA. As a resident of San Marino, she is deeply invested in fostering local connections. Maurisa spearheads our community outreach and networking; she is an actively involved member of the Pasadena and South Pasadena Chambers of Commerce and also lends her support to the San Gabriel Valley Psychological Association. Her commitment to the community extends to her personal life, where she serves on the PTA at her son's school in San Marino and is an active member of the Circle of Friends, a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the Kidspace Children's Museum in Pasadena.
